Kapparot
Kapparot is an old custom that many Jews all over the world practice.The custom is to take a chicken for each member of family and while swinging it around one’s head, recite same prayers and the give the chicken to poor people.
Today, unfortunately this custom is not available for everybody.
For over 20 years Torat Hayim has provided this service for many people.
To participate, Please write the names of those that want to do Kapparot, we will fax the names to our representative in Israel who will slaughter the chicken and mention the name of each family member. All the chickens are given to poor people in Israel.
Please DONATE $26.00 per chicken.
